Young style-conscious Ralph Lauren shoppers and heritage fashion fans
Love the Polo logo for its status, style and tradition, but don't realise the real British horse and pony breeds behind that heritage are disappearing
Buy into the limited-edition Ralph Lauren × RBST capsule and care about protecting rare native breeds
Removing the iconic Polo Player for one day, then replacing it with eight rare-breed badges across limited numbered polos, posters, packaging, shop windows, social and the Horsebox Pop-Up
The Polo Player is one of the most famous horses in fashion — embroidered on millions of chests. Meanwhile the real British horse and pony breeds behind that heritage are quietly disappearing.
Status symbols only mean something while the thing they stand for still exists. No pony, no polo.
NO PONY. NO POLO. For one day the Polo Player vanishes — then returns as eight rare-breed badges on 1,967 numbered polos, posters, packaging, shop windows, social and the Horsebox Pop-Up, with every piece supporting the Rare Breeds Survival Trust.

The breeds behind the badge, brought to the feed — ten films introducing the real ponies and horses the capsule protects. No pony. No polo.
The campaign opens with an absence. For one day the Polo Player disappears — from the windows, the shelves, the site and the socials. An empty plinth, a blank profile picture and a countdown: tomorrow, the pony changes.

The redesign itself — the Polo Player replaced by eight embroidered rare-breed badges across a numbered capsule of 1,967 polos, each boxed with a swing tag, breed card and QR to the Rare Breeds Survival Trust.

Flagship windows rebuilt around the reveal — the eight breed badges on the wall, numbered polos on the table, and the line running through every pane: the pony has changed, for a reason.

A restored navy horsebox becomes a travelling flagship — the capsule sold from the thing the campaign is about, touring eight locations across the season.

Each breed placed where it belongs — the Shire on a Mayfair bus stop, the Exmoor in a village shelter, the Dartmoor at Bond Street, the Dales outside the flagship, the Eriskay on the coast path, the Suffolk at the station, the Cleveland Bay on a country road and the Hackney at the estate gates.

The 30-second launch reel. It opens on the iconic Polo shirt — the pony has changed. The Cleveland Bay logo up close: elegant, powerful, enduring. Quick cuts through all eight breeds and eight polos, lifestyle moments through countryside and retail, then the purpose lands — 1,967 polos, 1,967 reasons to keep the pony alive. A portion of every sale supports the Rare Breeds Survival Trust. End frame: No Pony. No Polo. Discover the collection.
